Located between Aviemore and Inverness, Tomatin is one of the highest and one of the largest malt distilleries in Scotland - it is largely used by blenders. The Tomatin name from Gaelic means 'hill of the bushes'.
Tasting Notes:
Aromatic nose. Heathery sweetness is balanced by an earthy pungency. Notes of toffee and a little peat smoke.
Dry palate gives notes of tobacco leaf and chocolate. Fruit, raisins and sultanas. Finish is discrete, slightly smoky and displays a slight oakiness.
