Tamdhu is gaelic for “The little dark hill”. Only distillery in Speyside to malt all its own barley on the premises and is a malt within the Famous Grouse blend. Although distillery established in 1897 it did not release as a Single Malt until 1976.

Tasting Note:
Classic inner Speyside malt. Mild with hints of peat. Fruity, mid-weighted nose shows floral and toffee notes. Body is soft and light. Displays considerable delicacy on the palate. Clean finish. Has the versatility to drink before or after a meal.

Rarity:
Becoming Rare, limited supply.
