A highly regarded malt whisky, Mortlach contributes to the Johnnie Walker Blend. Located in the distilling capital ‘Dufftown’, Banffshire, its water orginates from the Conval Hills. Mortlach is lightly peated. Displaying full-bodied character its style is big and complex with smoky, rich aromas and a robust, well-rounded attack. An after-dinner malt.

Tasting Note:
Flowery, gently spicy nose with roasted notes. Some address it like passing bread, straight out of the oven. Lightly Peaty. Sweet and refreshing palate with complex nutty, spicy flavours.
Finish is expressive, long, tingling and warming - like campfire ashes. Hints of passion fruit. Recommend during dinner.
