Like Glen Grant, Caperdonich is located at the northern end of the Rothes village and uses the same water source. However the whiskies clearly differ, with Caperdonich being lighter and slightly smokier than Glen Grant. It too is a key component of the Chivas Regal Blend. The Caperdonich name from Gaelic means "Secret Well". Distillery was mothballed in 2002.

Tasting Note:
An exceptional rare bottling. Citrus fruits remain evident after many years in cask. Palate beckons more. Vanilla. Grassy. Coconut. Cherry Syrup. Lightly oily. Finish is dry with hints of spice. Very long and warming. An after-dinner malt.

Rarity:
Very Rare, very limited supply.
